| My life in Spain! | |||
Hola a todos! I have got a new blog in German which I will use from now on! There I will right about my everydaylife in Germany. My time in Pamplona is over now, this weekende I will come for a last time to celebrate Noemis Birthday and Kerrins last weekend in Spain. Until the 2nd of april I am staying for an internship in San Sebastian. Last Days in Pamplona… Yesterday i had my first exam, spanish, it was quite alright. And it was Gil`s last day here. She is now travelling with her brother and her sister, who just arrived from Today it was a bit hard to get up, but I finally managed. I dedicated myself to my favourite task after an exam: Throw away all the stuff (like papers) I don´t need anymore! Later I wanted to buy the newspaper, because there´s a special offer at the moment, for 1 € more you get a book, on monday it was “gullivers travel”. But I was so lazy and didn´t leave the apartment…tomorrow I will a lot more things than today! Despite everybody is going..... I am staying a bit longer in Spain than i planned before. Luckily I have the oporunity to make an internship in the language school in San Sebastian, TANDEM. i am going to do some marketing stuff there and I am really looking forward to it. Because my universities begins after Easter I have some free time after the exams here. So i can enjoy the sea and hopefully the sun as well. now i have to dedicate myself to study again, because my exams are beginning next week. Saying Good bye I have just arrived here in Paplona after my Christmas holydays another time and a lot of people are already leaving the country. Before Christmas we had to say Goodbye to Elise, the canadian girl, which was really sad! And last Thursday Christian, the boy from Corea-Argentinia who is studying in Missouri said to me that he will leave today. Betsy has already gone. I am going to stay here until the end of february but I am feeling like everybody is going now and that my time here is over.... Yesterday I met for the first time this year Christian, Bea, Gil and Margherita after the holydays and Christian and Gil are planning their farewellparty, they are leaving in two weeks time. WHY IS EVERYBODY GOING?? But we spent a really nice evening together and at the end Christian, Kerrin and I were the only ones left. We really had difficulties to find an open bar because everybody was closing very early. Erasmus in Pamplona
I can really recommend go abroad with Erasmus and especially to go to Pamplona. For all the people who don't know where Pamplona i, it is in the North of Spani, th capital of Navarra, close to the Pyreneus and the basque country. The people here are speaking Spanish and Basque, the language of the University is Spanish. All the signs in the city are in both languages. The city has got two universities, a public and a private one, UNAV, where I am studying Communications. A lot of people will know Pampona because of the famous bull fights, San Fermines, in July. Unfortunately I arrived here after this event and will leave to early to in February to celebrate this fiesta. The Spanish people are going out a lot more than the Germans do, in the old part of the town are lots of pintxos bars, small sandwiches which are special for the north. In San Juan is the so called Trave, a little street crowded with bars and discos. They are closing at half past 3 and later on the people are going to one of the discos in town: the most famous are the reveren2 and the Marengo. The weather here is quiet all right, it's not very warm like in Catalonia, but it's still warmer than in Germany. Normally it's raining a lot, but this year the sun is shining nearly every day. It's very easy to get to know people, there is a bunch of other Erasmusstudents, and here are a lot of things to celebrate. It's really worth visiting the rest of the country: San Sebastian is very near, one hour by bus, Zaragoza, Vitoria. From and to all the bigger cities are running buses several times a day for cheap prices, compared with the German railway prices. If you have the chance to come here, I can really recommend it! Staying abroad While searching the red I found a few webblogs of students who are staying abroad for a while. Janos, a Czech student, is commenting his life in Lisboa. The pity is, that I am not able to understand him because I don’t speak czech at all. He has some funny pictures which remind me of my time in Pamplona. Johannes, a german student from Augsburg, is staying half a year in Bologna, Italy. He is studying there at the university and describes his everyday-erasmus live-erasmus there. Like all the Erasmusstudents he is traveling around a lot and meeting lots of different and funny people. Luckiliy he is writing in German, so I can understand all. Sarah, known as srah from Michigan, USA, was working as an English assistant in Vichy, France. In her english blog she is telling her experineces she made abroad. |
